1. How old do I have to be to get in?

We do not currently admit anyone under the age of 21. Don't forget to bring your ID to the club. Every now and again we do a kids show and then we allow the parent's to make the call about what age is appropriate.

2. How do I get tickets?

You can purchase tickets by calling us at (404) 252-5233 and confirming your purchase with your credit card or you may pay in person at our ticket window during regular business hours. Reservations which have not been paid for will be released 20 minutes before show time.

3. Do I have to make a reservation?

No, but people with reservations get priority seating.

4. I want to sit up front. Can I request that?

Seating is generally first-come, first-served and that means those who pay first have the greatest choice of where to sit. We do offer two varieties of preferred seating for an additional charge.

5. Why can't I reserve specific seats?

You can reserve specific seats to a certain extent. If you let us know what your seating preference is, we will make an effort to make it happen for you.

6. Is there a dress code?

We ask that our customers dress with some consideration of the other customers. We expect that most people do this anyway, but if not we'll talk to you about it in a way that works for both of us.

7. Is there a drink minimum?

No. We ask that you do purchase at least one item from our menu, but how much that item costs or which item that is up to you. Keep in mind that we do have a drink maximum. If it appears that you have had too much to drink we will cut you off. We hope that's not a problem, but we are only trying to watch out for both of us.

8. Do you serve food?

Yes. We are proud of the amount of food that we can serve in a relatively short period of time. We feel that many of our items are sneaky good. Try something - we're confident that you'll like it.

9. Can I bring my underage daughter/son?

Generally speaking, no. There are a limited number of exceptions that we retain full discretion over, for example - you are related to the comedian.

10. Your staff asked me to be quiet during the show. Why?

It is important that all of our customers are considerate of the other people watching the show. If you are being disruptive then we will ask you to keep it down. If you can't get it under control then we will ask you to leave. We hope that you'll understand, if not then, then by morning when you've had some time to think about it.

11. Can I pay with a credit card?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover.

12. Do you sell Gift Certificates?

Yes. What we sell is a Gift Card, which can be used by the recipient to buy tickets, merchandise or food and beverage. How much the card is worth is completely up to you, and the card is rechargeable.

13. Why doesn't ever come to your club?

Two big reasons: Cost to you and interest on the part of the comic. Unfortunately there comes a point for most comedians, when their success makes it cost prohibitive for them to come to most comedy clubs. We have it better than most because we are one of the top ten comedy clubs in the country. Even still, we aren't sure how many people would pay the $200 a ticket or more it would cost to bring some acts in. Even when we might be able to afford to bring the comedian in, there are times when they like making as much in one night at a theater that it would take them all week to make at a club. You should know this however, we aim high all the time. It's never for a lack of trying that a comedian isn't on our schedule.

16. Where can I get a comedian's CD, DVD, or T-Shirt?

After the show from the comedian, at some local music stores, or through the comedian's website.

17. Can I hire a comedian through you to perform at my event?

Yes. Check out our Punchline To Go page.

18. How do I get started if I want to be a comedian?

It's a pretty easy process. Visit our page for additional details.

19. I'd like to celebrate something at The Punchline. How can I set it up?

We would love to work with you on a memorable event. Visit our page for additional details.

20. Can I rent the whole club?

Yes.

22. How come we never read any reviews of the shows in the AJC?

We'd love to have more show reviews in the paper, but it's an editorial decision on their part. The paper is reasonably good to us on the whole however.
